We’re very excited for the final year of ‘The Great Adventure’ Bible Study – for the spring of 2026. We’ll be finishing the ‘The Great Adventure’ curriculum from Ascension Press. It’s a very detailed program that covers the 14 most important narrative books in the Bible. By reading these books one will learn about all of the most important events in Salvation history.
Registration
To participate in this parish Bible Study, one will need to purchase the materials. If you’ve already done this in the past (for the 2024-2025 year), you don’t need to do it again! This includes both the materials from ascension and supplemental materials we will be providing. The cost is $10 per person. You can do this either online or in person:
Online:
- Link to purchase: https://deaconken.square.site/s/order?item=2
- Make sure to increase the quantity for 1 set of materials for each person
- Once you click ‘Attend’ make sure you ‘Continue to Cart’ to finish the checkout process
- Including an accurate name and e-mail address is very important so that we can send you a receipt that you can provide on the first night to receive your materials
In-Person:
There will be two opportunities to purchase the material in-person:
- Before and after Mass on Sunday 12/14/26
- In-person the first night of the Bible Study 1/7/26 (please show up early at 5:30 PM)
Supplemental/optional online video registration:
While it is not required, we encourage you to signup on Ascension Press to be able to watch the videos online for $6.95. If you want to re-watch any segments or if you miss a week, you’ll be able to watch them online on your own time. Click the link below to signup.

Schedule
Two year schedule overview:
This is a two year 2-year program held weekly on Wednesday nights at 6 PM in the Morris Hall at St. Clare in Roseville. We are more than half way doneThe overall schedule is as follows:
- Year 1: Sept. 25th, 2024 to May 28th, 2025

- Year 2 – part two: January 7th, 2026 to May 13th, 2026
Overall flow of program:
The curriculum is split into 24 units. Each unit will take 2 weeks to cover. The first week we will watch a video from Ascension. The following week will be a lecture give by either Deacon Ken or Dr. Younger that will give more insight beyond what is covered by the unit.
It will be good to read the scripture assigned for each unit before the lecture.
Additionally, for the Spring of 2026, because we’ve already finished the first 17 units, the first 4 weeks will be a “Cram Session” where we quickly review all of the content of the last year and a half. This will help people catchup before we move on to the final 6 units.
