We’re very excited for the new Bible Study for the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 scholastic years. We’ll be using the ‘The Great Adventure’ curriculum from Ascension Press. It’s a very detailed program that covers the 14 most important narrative books in the Bible. By reading these books one will learn about all of the most important events in Salvation history.
Registration
To participate in this parish Bible Study, one will need to purchase the materials. This includes both the materials from ascension and supplemental materials we will be providing. The cost is $10 per person. You can do this either online or in person:

In-Person:
There will be opportunities to purchase the material in-person:
- Before and after Mass the weekend of 9/7-8
- Before and after Mass the weekend of 9/14-15
- Before and after Mass the weekend of 9/21-22
- In-person the first night of the Bible Study (please show up early at 5:30 PM)
Supplemental/optional online video registration:
While it is not required, we encourage you to signup on Ascension Press to be able to watch the videos online for $6.95. If you want to re-watch any segments or if you miss a week, you’ll be able to watch them online on your own time. Click the link below to signup.

Schedule
Two year schedule overview:
This will be a 2-year program held weekly on Wednesday nights at 6 PM in the Morris Hall at St. Clare in Roseville. The overall schedule is as follows:
- Year 1: Sept. 25th, 2024 to May 28th, 2025
- Year 2: Sept. 24th, 2025 to approximately March 11th, 2026 (the end date may change as adjustments are made
Overall flow of program:
The curriculum is split into 24 units. Each unit will take 2 weeks to cover. The first week we will watch a video from Ascension. The following week will be a lecture give by either Deacon Ken or Dr. Younger that will give more insight beyond what is covered by the unit.
It will be good to read the scripture assigned for each unit before the lecture.
